Mr. J. Mayersbeth
The Rev. J.H. Butcher officiated at the service at the Crematorium on Monday for Mr. James Edward Mayersbeth, aged 69, of 12 Glenton-street, who died in Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge, on October 31st.
Born at Lambeth, Mr. Mayersbeth came to Peterborough in 1915. He served in the Royal Navy in the 1914-18 war and in the R.A.F. in the last war. Before retiring he worked on the weighbridge at the British Sugar Corporation factory at Woodston.
The mourners were - Mrs. A. Mayersbeth, widow; Mr. and Mrs. C. Mayersbeth. Mr. L. Mayersbeth, sons and daughter-in-law; Mrs. E. Goodale, sister-in-law, and Mr. E. Taylor, friend.
